Sugarland and Katy should watch their backs, there is a neighborhood silently preparing for a big takeover. Richmond, a small town of master-planned communities between the two larger areas, has been gaining more attention from developers. According to Houston Business Journal, it’s the next Houston-area community on the rise. Located only 30 miles outside downtown Houston, Richmond is making big waves in growing its residents and businesses.
Large developers like Taylor Morrison, who is building a 600-acre master-planned community named Grand Vista, have already staked claim in the Richmond area adding beautiful family homes. It appears there will continue to be a growing expansion of neighborhoods and towns along the Grand Parkway. As developers finish neighborhoods around the southwest Houston-area, the housing market will continue to thrive.
Also adding to the appeal of the area is the local education system, the Lamar Consolidated Independent School District. It has begun to rival the standards of its typically more esteemed Katy ISD counterparts, consistently bringing in high ratings.
Well-known businesses such as Gallery Furniture and Sprouts are also expanding their chains to continue to serve their loyal customers and are excited to build new relationships with Richmond residents.
Richmond is receiving massive attention and excellent praises. We are more than delighted to learn more about this rewarding neighborhood. What do you think of Richmond, is it the next booming town?
