There will be something for everyone at the 4th Annual Houston Spanish & Flamenco Festival this month! A celebration of Spain’s rich traditions, culture, and arts, this four day festival will be May 27-31, 2014 at the San Jacinto College South location. This is a wonderful opportunity to see world class performances as well as be a part of them!
The combined effort of the Consulate General of Spain, San Jacinto College and Solero Flamenco, Houston’s premier flamenco performance company, will offer workshops with expert instructors for kids, teens and adults of all levels in dance, guitar, and flamenco song– as well as present programs and performances.
Some of the performance highlights will include Solero Flamenco’s “Mosaico” and Jesús Montoya’s “Flamenco del Ayer y de Hoy.” While some of the performances are free, be sure to check the calendar as there are some with a general admission fee.
