Have you been counting down to let loose at the 2015 Texas Tequila and Margarita Festival? It’s almost that time again with plenty of fun in the sun taking place on both June 19th and 20th at Moody Gardens in Galveston, TX.
This year you can expect the festival to deliver an extraordinary weekend of margarita samples, addictive food, tequila tastings, and live music in true larger than life Texas fashion throughout numerous events taking place.
The festivities on Friday at the “Tour De Tequila” should be promising fun as you can expect to enjoy a tasting and sampling session from 7 pm-11 pm. Many local restaurants will be showcasing their talent of pairing complimentary tequilas with the right tasty bite.
Then be prepared for Saturday, which is shaping up to be the most eventful day with the “Margarita Grand Tasting,” from 1 pm-5 pm and the opportunity to swing by the official “Casa Sauza Outdoor Margarita Festival” from 12 pm-10 pm.
At the grand tasting you’ll be the judge of some of the best margaritas in town as restaurants and bars compete for ultimate bragging rights, while the festival itself shouldn’t be missed. Featuring a fajita cook-off, a massive variety of delicious margaritas and plenty of vendors for shopping, this perfect summer event to have a blast with family and friends.
Tickets and passes to all the events can be purchased online with prices ranging from $15-$60. Be sure to check the schedule of events to confirm what you’ll be allowed to bring in and what details you can expect from each event.
