One of the most respected grade schools in the city of Houston continues to add to their great reputation every day. St. Francis Episcopal School is a private school located in the Memorial neighborhood on the west side of Houston, and it is certainly one that many parents approve of!
Educating students grades K-8, the school focuses on providing their students with a quality education that will help them succeed. The St. Francis faculty and staff values guiding their students, helping them make good decisions socially, academically, and spiritually.
The learning atmosphere at St. Francis is like no other. The middle school students attend chapel twice a week in order to enhance their spiritual lives. Pupils also have many classes that improve their study skills and time management, which are vital when they go on to high school. The curriculum at St. Francis is focused on teaching students goal setting, decision making, and assertiveness; all skills that will be more than useful outside of the classroom.
Any parents who send their child to St. Francis Episcopal School can feel comfortable knowing that their child is always in a positive learning environment. Each student is important to the community at St. Francis, so your child will definitely feel right at home. Has your child attended St. Francis Episcopal School? How did they enjoy it? I have a dear friend who’s dsughters attend St. FRANCIS. She is also a teacher there as eell. I know she chose this school because of it’s reputation. I for one love the schools focus on individual learning, rather than “teaching” to a test. I also like that the childrenattend chapel. When my girls attended preschool they had chapel each morning. When it was time to go to elementary school, the first thing my oldest wantedto know is where is the chapel? If we lived closer to St. FRANCIS it would for certain be my top choice for my girls!
We’re so glad you’re fond of St. Francis Becca! Individual learning is a wonderful asset for children’s learning, as is the beautiful chapel! Thank you for sharing your story!
With everything that goes on in the world today, it’s good to know parents have options like this to help guide their kids on a higher path.
We couldn’t agree more Susan! Schools that provide our future leaders with a solid education while supporting their personal growth are true gems!
