Have a talented artist at home interested in pursuing their dreams into a collegiate level and higher? The High School for the Performing and Visual Arts is a fully accredited magnet school that teaches the standard public school academic curriculum, with an added emphasis on the arts.
The students are able to attend a three-hour session each day specifically for perfecting their talents. Departments include Dance, Creative Writing, Vocal Music, Theatre, Instrumental Music and Visual Arts. All of the art departments have won numerous awards, recognition and have trained artists who are successful in the arts community today.
