If you are looking for a place to settle down, land a great job, and raise a family in the Houston area, The Woodlands is certainly a place to consider. This beautiful neighborhood continues to top lists as it was recently ranked by the consumer finance website NerdWallet as the number one city on the rise in Texas.
The rankings were based on income, employment rates, and overall population growth. The Woodlands is proud to hold the top spot because there are many great Texas cities out there, but their hard work and great sense of community give them the leading edge. The Woodlands is located just north of Houston and consists of many up-and-coming communities each contributing to help the entire town thrive. Plenty of businesses are moving to The Woodlands and setting their roots because the economic growth is through the roof. Everything seems to be going the right way for the Woodlands because as more people want to move there, the better the businesses do. In addition to the existing commerce, there are many projects that will come into play in the near future that will continue to add growth to the area.
For example, in 2015 the Grand Parkway into Houston will expand to help commuters access the city more quickly and easily. Similarly, ExxonMobil will establish a new headquarters in 2015 that will help set up more business and new, high-level jobs for locals. The Woodlands is also home to The Cynthia Woods Pavilion which holds concerts and many big name artists to provide great entertainment. There is also The Woodlands Mall which is a great shopping center with an amazing atmosphere consisting of new stores and restaurants. On your search for the best place to live with your family, don’t underestimate the living potential of The Woodlands. Are you resident of The Woodlands?
