This second largest subdivision in the city has gained the attention of Houstonians looking for a quaint and comfortable place to live.
Developed in the 1950s, Westbury is conveniently located minutes away from the Medical District, Downtown Houston and the Galleria. Although the neighborhood struggled during the 1980s, crime has greatly decreased in the area, making it an ideal safe haven for families.

Johnston Middle School and Westbury High School are the primary schools for the teenagers of the neighborhood. The private schools of the area include St. Thomas More Catholic School which serves grades K-8 and Westbury Christian School provides for students in grades K-12.
