Join the Houston Art Community in Memorial Park on March 28-30th for the 43rd Bayou City Art Festival. Every year, the Art Colony Association holds two festivals with one in the spring in Memorial Park, and the other in the fall in Downtown Houston. This spring, there will be over 400 artists showcasing their brilliant work.
The festival’s history goes back over 40 years when there was a collective effort by businesses on Westheimer looking to beautify the city of Houston. There were many Houstonians that wanted to add more culture to Houston in order to connect with the variety of people throughout the city.
The Bayou City Arts Festival encourages families to attend as it will be a fun filled day for everyone with a great variety of art, music, food, beer and wine. There will also be activities for people of all ages and available prizes.
By attending the Bayou City Arts Festival, you are also contributing to a great cause; all of the proceeds from the festival benefit Houston’s Arts Colony Association. Tickets cost $15 for adults and $3 for children, for more information please visit the link below! Come out on the weekend of March 28th to support the artists of Houston and enjoy some of the most creative art the city has to offer!
