Houston is known for its massive restaurant scene, and we have recently received a new addition to our repertoire! The Austin-based restaurant chain, Doc’s Motorworks, announced that they are set to expand their chain in Houston, opening Doc’s Bar & Grill in the coming months.
With the restaurant finding a home in the Montrose District at 1303 Westheimer, the many people who live there are sure bring a fun and upbeat vibe to an already unique dining experience. Doc made an effort to keep the same feeling that is shared with the rest of the community.
The creative twist of making the grill pet-friendly is one that you won’t find a lot of in Houston. You can expect Doc’s to incorporate its own brand of fun and relaxation from its other locations to the new restaurant, such as a large outdoor patio. This will be a great place for pets and owners alike to enjoy the outdoors while remaining in the shade of the awnings.
Visually, the building will be inviting, with a sleek and modern design in a variety of comforting colors. Doc’s Bar & Grill will be a great restaurant for people of all ages as there is a wide variety of food to please any appetite including burgers, sandwiches, salads, tacos, desserts, and Texas favorites like their Frito Pie Grande!
Once the new bar and grill opens in the summer, be sure stop in with your family with the bonus of bringing your pets along! We can’t wait to hear all about your experience at this wonderful restaurant.
